Hello beautiful people,
Thank you for being here to see what I've been upto this past month.
The first being our special Teddy Bear Picnic fundraiser for Bowel Cancer Australia.
On Sunday October 8th 2023 we held our first communiry fundraiser. The fundraiser was in memory of my Dad who fought a good fight but sadly passed from terminal Bowel Cancer in late 2020. As part of my grief committing to helping others that are going through the same thing my Dad went through makes me feel good and I know he'd be happy about it too. We raised just over $300 for non-for profit organisation called Bowel Cancer Australia with 100% of the profits donated directly to them.
The sun was shining, I had Butterflies and dragonflies flying around me as I was set up had the honour of welcoming 16 beautiful families to our messy play picnic.
A massive thank you to Bambino Baked and Blissful Grazing both local Northern Beaches small businesses that kindly donated some custom cookies and a platter for our fundraiser.
BROOKVALE HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL 28/10/23 🦇
Holy moly! I had the best time at the Brookvale Halloween Festival. We set up some Halloween inspired stations in addition to our sensory staples such as our water play station and rice station.
I met over 50 families and welcomed even more kiddies to enjoy some messy play fun! Our slime station was a hit and due to the influxes of children things seemed to get very messy very fast.
I loved seeing all the children play alongside one another that they didn't know thanks to the inviting stations that were set up.
It was such an honour to be there a huge shout to Sarah who hosted to festival and to Jo from Engage Northern Beaches for putting love passing on my information.
PARTIES & EVENTS 🦋
Interesting fact I've always loved decorating parties and party planning for my family, I've made my fair share of tissue paper tassels and just love making a space look fun and exciting!
To be able to offer my services in party form really fills up my cup. Our nature inspired parties have been enjoyed by the community so far and I'm glad that they've been recieve well by the children 🫶🏾.
We have a couple of parties, our Christmas play sessions and a market before the year ends with lots of exciting things coming in the new year!
